DPS is a Partnership

Bob Gibson
Starting a career in educational publishing in the late sixties, Bob had a front row seat as "new learning technologies" were introduced. After founding Micromedia Limited in 1972, he engaged with the evolution of print formats from microfiche through CD, DVD, Online and digital. In 2006, with his brother Gary, he founded Canadian Electronic Library, which helped Canadian publishers embark on the ebook journey.

Satya Pamarty
After a distinguished academic career, Satya entered the field of publishing as the digital revolution began. Informed by experience with several international publishing service providers, Satya founded AtriTeX and eBookBurner Technologies, specializing in high-quality digital content transformation, large-scale eBook production, metadata management, and workflow automation.
After meeting in 2012 at the O'Reilly Tools of Change Conference in New York, Bob and Satya have worked together to help publishers deal with the rapidly changing digital landscape. The desLibris name was first used in 2012 to describe the platform on which the Canadian Electronic Library was provided to libraries seeking access to the collection. When CEL was acquired in 2022, desLibris Publishing Solutions (DPS) was opened to serve the emerging need for guidance in adding accessibility to e-formats.
DPS is distinguished by the personal attention given to every project. Whether a first book from a self-published author, an illustrated travel book, a scholarly text or a textbook from an established publisher, every project is accompanied by a "ticket" or conversational thread, which guides the work through to completion & delivery. Invoices are not payable until work has met client approval.
